Meaning

A lit, filtered cigarette, is shown burning at different directions. Commonly used to represent various forms of smoking (e.g., tobacco, marijuana, vaping) as well as metaphorical senses of smoking.

Can be used in reference to the 'I Haven't Heard That Name In Years' meme, which depicts a person or character smoking while recalling someone from their (often painful) past.

Originally intended as a sign for a designated smoking area, as contrasted to 🚭 No Smoking Symbol. This is illustrated in Samsung’s previous design of a stylized, white cigarette on a blue background.
